What is the history of St. Paul Lutheran in Pinehurst?

History of St. Paul
St. Paul Lutheran Church is a mission of the Southeastern District of the Lutheran Church, Missouri Synod. In March of 2000, the District called Rev. Richard Schliepsiek to be the part-time mission developer of this new congregation. The church is meeting in the former sanctuary of Sacred Heart Catholic Church and is located just north of the Carloina Hotel.
St. Paul congregation commits itself to being a Lutheran community of faith, based on:
the Word of God and its primary teaching of Law and Gospel
the great commission of our Resurrected Lord to evangelize the world and build up the body of Christ.
